In this study, a binary dielectric materials composed of perovskite (Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3 and BaTiO3 were designed using conventional solid-state reaction for use in improved dielectric properties of (Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3 maintaining the high temperature stability. The experimental results demonstrate that the 80(Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3/20BaTiO3 shows not only superior dielectric properties (capacitance of 54.9, dielectric loss of 0.13, insulation resistance (IR) value of 1.66E+13, insulation resistance X capacitance (RC) value of 358,813 at 1MHz derived from BaTiO3 but also excellent temperature coefficient of capacitance derived from (Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3 among various BaTiO3/(Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3 compositions. It also meets the resistance X capacitance value. (Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3 (stable temperature characteristics) and BaTiO3 (high dielectric constant). We suggest that the 80(Ca0.7Sr0.3)(Zr0.8Ti0.2)O3/20BaTiO3 can be applied for realizing extraordinary multilayer ceramic capacitors.
